At ICS, student learning is a journey of growth rooted in biblical truth and the pursuit of excellence. Our teaching and learning principles reflect our deep belief that knowledge is the precursor to critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. We believe that these skills are intimately intertwined with factual knowledge stored in long-term memory and that memory is the residue of thought.

By emphasising knowledge acquisition as the core of good learning from kindergarten onwards, ICS ensures that each student has the opportunity to grow in understanding and wisdom.

Our approach to student learning prioritises physical reading and handwriting, balancing these with the selective use of digital tools to prepare students for a dual-modal society.
